Quantum Miami was truly 2023’s premier Web3 event bridging Blockchain to mainstream industries. Held in James L Knight Center in Miami, the conference had some prominent speakers on stage, including Francis X. Suarez (Mayor of Miami), Brock Pierce (Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation), Scarlett Arana (Co-founder of BitBasel), Clay Kilgo (Co-founder of Blockbytes), Nick Spanos (Bitcoin Pinoneer), Steve Beauregard (CEO of PayMONY), and many others.
A lot of hot topics were covered during the conference, including how FTX has changed the investor due diligence process, legal considerations when building your token, NFT or Metaverse project, crypto mortgages and lending, and much more. Despite the recent FTX scandal, the industry’s future is still bright, and everyone in attendance seemed to be optimistic.
Another exciting part of Quantum Miami 2023 was the pitch contest which is basically a Shark Tank-style pitch competition in front of a live audience. The winner got a free trip to Abu Dhabi to introduce their project center stage at the largest web3 conference in the Middle East. The top 3 finalists also got some cash prizes from the Cointelegraph Accelerator, $50,000 in total.
