Startup Fashion Week: Supporting Emerging Designers and Businesses

Fashion is a tough industry to get in to, and it’s much tougher to stay on top. Startup Fashion Week is a not-for-profit event production, founded in 2014 by Jodi Goodfellow, that has grown its popularity in Toronto and Montreal, featuring emerging models and designers, speakers, and fashion-tech startups. This year Startup Fashion Week held The Future of Fashion Forum, Business of Fashion Conference, Eco Fashion Forum, and, of course, Runway Shows.

Every brand needs some time to become well-established and recognizable. Creative industries need more creative minds, thus, public should support emerging talents. Incorporating technology and making fashion eco-friendly is an important step towards better future. Last month, at Startup Fashion Week Toronto entrepreneurs had a chance to learn about it, expand their network, and showcase their business/startup.
