The spring/summer 2017 catwalks incorporated some much-loved last year hair trends but gave them a little twist for the new season. Behind the scenes of fashion shows, street style looks, celebrity haircuts – there are certain trends present in all of them.
One of the biggest trends on the runway of Prada’s Spring/Summer 2017 show, was the 20s style bob. This got widely confused with Gwyneth Paltrow’s look in “The Royal Tenenbaums” movie. Celebrity hair stylist Guido Palau has definitely set a new hair trend for the upcoming spring. Simplicity and ease are seen as the new elegance this season.

Another popular hair trend we see everywhere is so-called “mid-lenght bob”.This classic look is sophisticated and surprisingly low maintenance. What you need for this polished style is a flat iron and mist of glossing spray (try Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray, $26).

Chic and feminine, waves are popular for, both, long hair and bob haircuts. Sun-kissed waves are always in the centre of attention, especially, when it’s warm and sunny outside. These messy beach waves are much easier to create than anything else. For most of us, it comes naturally, when you don’t use your hairbrush and choose to air dry instead of blow dry. Although, it may require your braiding skills as well.

Skinny Bohemian braids, just as we saw it at Roberto Cavalli’s SS17 show, are always chic and trendy. Boho style is good not only for those who love hippie style, but for everyone who wants to create something unusual and interesting. Besides twists and braids, consider using some hair accessories to enhance your look.
